چکیده

Abstract There is dearth information on the role of fisetin as an antistress agent in ameliorating heat stress broiler chickens. Here, we experimentally compared probiotic, antioxidant and agent, with fisetin, little or no report its effect. Sixty-day-old chickens (Arbo Acre breed) were allotted into 4 groups 15 birds each follows; control, + probiotic groups, respectively. All administrations performed orally through gavage for treatment groups. The environmental cloacal temperature (CT) parameters measured bi-hourly at Days 21, 28, 35 from 7:00 to hr, during period study. exceeded thermoneutral zone probiotic-supplemented group had least overall mean CT values all experimental period. Based our findings, was not a potent mitigating birds.

Daily rhythms of cloacal temperature in broiler chickens of different age groups administered with zinc gluconate and probiotic during the hot‐dry season

The aim of the experiment was to evaluate effects of zinc gluconate (ZnGlu) and probiotic administration on the daily rhythm of cloacal temperature (tcloacal) in broiler chickens of different age groups during the hot-dry season. One-day-old broiler chicks (n = 60) were divided into groups I-IV of 15 chicks per group, and treated for 35 days: Group I (control) was given deionized water; Group I...

The Effect of Grape Seed Extract Supplementation on Performance, Antioxidant Enzyme Activity, and Immune Responses in Broiler Chickens Exposed to Chronic Heat Stress

The effect of grape seed extract (GSE) feed supplementation on performance, antioxidant enzyme activity, and immune responses in broiler chickens suffering from heat stress were investigated in this study. Experimental diets including control diet (with no additive), 3 levels of GSE (150, 300, 450 mg/kg), and one level of vitamin C (300 mg/kg) as a positive control were fed to the birds from 1 ...

Effects of Using a Multi-Strain Probiotic on Performance, Immune Responses and Cecal Microflora Composition in Broiler Chickens Reared Under Cyclic Heat Stress Condition

This experiment was conducted to examine the effect of multi-strain probiotic (Primalac) on performance, immune responses and cecal microflora in broiler chickens under cyclic heat stress condition. A total of 96 one-d-old mixed sex broiler chicks (Ross 308) were weighed and randomly allocated to two treatment groups, each with 4 replicate pens of 12 chicks. The dietary treatments were basal di...
